[Sports] Nigeria Slump In FIFA July Ranking

The Nigeria Football Team as again drop in position in the latest FIFA World Rankings.

NIGERIA have dropped in FIFA’s latest World Ranking, Following a dismal 2-0 defeat to South Africa in the Africa Cup Of Nation (AFCON) qualifier.

Having failed to quality for the 2017 AFCON staged in Gabon, they are now in real danger of missing out on a spot in the FIFA 2019 edition billed for Cameron and are down to 39th in the latest FIFA SPORT RANKINGS.

Even at this fall, the Super Eagles of Nigeria remain sixth in Africa behind Egypt, Senegal, Congo DR, Tunisia and Cameroon.

Meanwhile, Germany have return to the number one spot for the first time in two years following Confederation Cup triumph with Brazil and Argentina sitting in the Second and third respectively.

The likes of Peru, Northern Ireland, Congo DR, Curacao, Mauritania, Poland etc registered their  highest position to date.
