Nigeria Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai of China striker, Odion Ighalo has continued his tough start to life in China as he missed a penalty for his Club on Sunday morning.
After 67 minutes into the game against Guangzhou R&F in the Chinese Super League, Ighalo was given the opportunity to put Yatai in the lead but he misses the penalty.
The opponent Goal keeper Cheng Yuele guessed the right way and pushed Ighalo’s effort away.
Just three minutes later, Brazilian midfielder Junior Urso gave the hosts the lead and consigned Ighalo’s side to their second successive defeat under his captaincy.
Ighalo also captained his side when they went down to Shanghai SIPG 5-1 in their opening game last week.
It can be recalled that the Super Eagles striker left Premier League side, Watford, for Changchun Yatai on transfer deadline for £27million and a £200,000 wage per week.
