AS Monaco’s atacking power was too much for anchester City to handle as the French side recorded an amazing 6-6 aggregate win over the English side.

Trailing 5 – 3 from the first leg, Monaco had only attack as an option to qualify and attack they did which bore fruits.
The French side recorded a 3 – 1 win in the second leg to secure the aggregate win as make Guardiola suffer his first exit from the Champions League at a stage lower than the semi-final.
Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring via a tap-in from Mendy’s cross from the left. Monaco’s attacking play saw Fabinho score the second via a tap in again.
Bernadao Silva and Thomas Lemar connecting well with the former sending a low cross into the box where Fabinho was
to tap-in beneath Willy Caballero.
The second half was a much different story as Man City went all out attacking and their persistence paid off as Leroy Sane scored to send the tie 5 – 6 on aggregate.
Monaco completed the job with just under ten minutes left to play of the game.Silva’s cross from the right was turned in by Bakayoko who would later by shown a yellow card that will force him to miss the quarter-final first leg.
